1. Site preparation
Before you begin installation, make sure you have all the materials you need:
- 2D or 3D panels
- Clip-on posts
- Clips
- Pliers
- Screws and tools (screwdriver, spirit level, chalk line)
- Concrete and spade
📍 Step 1: Delimitation
- Mark out the fence location with a chalk line to ensure proper alignment
- Mark out the location of each post, respecting the spacing corresponding to the width of the panels.
2. Post installation
📍 Step 2: Digging the holes
- Dig holes 30 to 50 cm deep and 20 to 30 cm wide
- The depth should be adapted to the height of the fence and the type of soil.
💡 Helpful! We recommend levelling the site along the entire length of the fence. For correct placement, be sure to observe the center-to-center distances. The center-to-center distance is 2520 mm, for 2500 mm wide panels.
📍 Step 3: Installing the posts
- Place the first clip post in the hole
- Fill with concrete and check plumb with a level
- Check the concrete manufacturer's instructions for the drying time required before fixing the panels.
💡 Useful! Each post is equipped with notches that allow the mounting clips to be fixed at different heights, adapting to the needs of your installation. Each post also features a cap with a hook for temporarily suspending the panel during installation, making installation much easier.
3. Panel mounting
📍 Step 4: Panel installation
- Position a 2D or 3D panel between two pre-installed posts
- Insert fastening clips on the panel's horizontal wires
- Securely screw the clips to the posts using a drill.
💡 Helpful! Metal clips are very rigid. They can be reinforced with bolts in critical areas of your fence (corners, near gates), as they are drilled in the center. The addition of bolt fasteners is not mandatory.
For panels 830-1030 mm high, we recommend 2 clips on each side, for panels 1230-1430 mm, 3 clips, and for higher panels, 4 clips on each side.
4. Finishing and testing
📍 Step 5: Final checks
- Make sure all panels are properly aligned
- Check the strength of the fence
- Clean the installation area and allow the concrete to harden completely.
💡 Tip: For maximum durability, apply an anti-corrosion treatment to fasteners and maintain your fence regularly.
